About our school

Bundoora Primary School Bundoora Primary School is situated in the residential suburb of Bundoora, in the north-east of Melbourne.  Our school is surrounded by Gresswell Forest, established areas, the adjacent Bundoora Secondary College campus, Strathallan Golf Course and the new Gresswell Grange Estate. We are close to La Trobe University, RMIT Bundoora and the Metropolitan Ring Road.

The School's enrolment currently stands at 240, with students from a variety of backgrounds, demonstrating the multi cultural aspect of our school. Our Specialist Programs consist of Visual Arts, Performing Arts, LOTE, Physical Education, and a dedicated Science Program. An English as a Second Language (ESL) program operates throughout the school and provides opportunities for students to have further focused instruction in English.

At Bundoora Primary, each child's individuality is recognised and celebrated. We are also very proud to be a KidsMatter School, seeking to nurture happy and balanced children. Our school boasts a caring, community environment where all families can feel that they are a part of something special. School Tours

2017 Prep Enrolments are DUE NOW and we are now accepting and receiving 2018 Prep Enrolments.

Due to our comprehensive learning programs, excellent facilities and very committed staff, Bundoora Primary School has seen a growth in enrolments over the past few years.  Whilst there are no zoning issues for our school at present, parents are encouraged to enrol their child as early as possible. School tours are available with our Principal, Ms Lee Pollard, on request.  You may like to meet with our Principal, Ms Lee Pollard, to arrange to tour our classrooms and grounds. Our tours, amongst other things, provide extensive information regarding our curriculum, specialist programs, and general classroom information, as well as giving you the opportunity to view the school and classes in action, and answer any queries you may have.

School Tours

If you have a Prep 2017 child we urge you to contact us as soon as possible, as enrolments are due now. If you have a Prep 2018 or 2019 child, we encourage you to check our website later in the year for Term 1 2017 school tours. Please feel free to contact our office to enquire about enrolling, arrange a school tour or to meet our Principal, Lee Pollard. Enrolment forms are available for download (click below) or you may like to contact our office to obtain an information pack.

Kindy Time (school readiness)

Your child may also be interested in attending one of our Kindy Time sessions (Kindy Craft, Kindy Science, Kindy Music, Kindy Sports). Please see our Kindy Time page under our News & Events page above for more information.

Kindy Sports:
Wednesday 7th September 2.15-3.00pm

Kindy Time sessions are designed for kinder-aged children (3 or 4 year olds) to enable them to familiarise themselves in a school-type setting, with a view to raising their confidence in an enjoyable, comfortable way. Parents are welcome to stay and watch. Dates and times are listed on the page under the News & Events tab above. Bookings are essential (places are limited) and can be made by phoning our office on 9467 2601 or emailing here.

Our proud association with Ray White Bundoora

Ray White Bundoora logoWe have an extremely positive association with Ray White Bundoora who have proven to be generous in their constant support of our school. Ray White Bundoora have supported our school for several years now and continue to offer their guidance, sponsorship and support. We have been fortunate to receive assistance from Ray White Bundoora throughout funding of, amongst many other things, our student sports shirts, regular attendance at our school events, raffle prize sponsorship and extremely generous payment towards our artificial grass in our undercover area. Ray White Bundoora are tremendously professional in everything they do. Our parents, who have experienced Ray White Bundoora in their housing experiences, have confirmed their professionalism, support and efficiency.

Cyber Safety

Cybersafety - Bundoora Primary School

The Australian Government's Cybersafety Help Button provides internet users, particularly children and young people, with easy online access to cybersafety information and assistance available in Australia. It offers counselling, reporting and educational resources to assist young people deal with online risks including cyberbullying, unwanted contact, scams and fraud, and offensive or inappropriate material.

Our Skoolbag Phone App

Our School now has our own Skoolbag Smartphone App which we will be using to send you important information. Please download and install it by searching for our school name in either the Apple App Store, or Google Play Store.

Out of School Hours Care

Bundoora Primary School provides before school care, from 7.15am - 8.45am, and after school care, from 3.15pm - 6.00pm, Monday to Friday in our OSHC room in Building 2.
