We’re looking forward to seeing everyone at the disco tomorrow night, rocking it out in their Bright Colours! Just a reminder of the two session times: Preps to Grade 2s attend the early session, 5:30pm to 7:00pm, and the Grade 4s to Grade 6s attend the later session, 7:15pm to 8:45pm. Grade 3s can choose which session to attend but are not to attend both. Parents must drop off their children at the door to be signed in, and collect them from the door to be signed out. Thank you to all parents who have volunteered their time to help run this event – it should be a great night!!

A notice came home this week notifying everyone of the actual dates of the Mother’s Day Stall. They will be on Thursday 10th May (with flow-on to Friday 11th May if necessary). Apologies for any confusion!! We are still seeking donations of re-gifts for the stall, so bring in that set of hankies your grandma gave you, or the ‘delightful’ vase from the auntie you don’t really like. We’ll accept it all!!

We need to ramp up interest in the Spare Change Drive. We need our houses to get competitive, and what better way to light the fire of competition than to let you know exactly what you are playing for!! Each week, the house that collects the most spare change will win 400pts for their house, as well as Bragging Rights. Second place wins 300pts, third place wins 200pts and fourth place wins 100pts. MASSIVE house points will be awarded to the overall winning house at the end of the term: 4,000pts for the winning house, with second place getting 3,000pts, third place getting 2,000pts and fourth place getting 1,000pts. House Captains will be coming around to collect the spare change on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week. Start bringing in that spare change everyone!!

In term 3 we will be holding a Demonstrator Day on Saturday 26th August. The idea behind this is to have demonstrators and party planners ‘purchase’ a table from us to enable them to display their wares. If anyone in the school community is interested in booking a table for themselves, please let the office know. Tables will be available for $25.
