Bundoora Primary School

Bundoora Primary School is situated in the residential suburb of Bundoora, in the north-east of Melbourne.

Our school is surrounded by Gresswell Forest, established areas, the adjacent Bundoora Secondary College campus, Strathallan Golf Course and the new Gresswell Grange Estate. We are close to La Trobe University, RMIT Bundoora and the Metropolitan Ring Road.

The School’s enrolment currently stands at 300, with students from a variety of backgrounds, demonstrating the multi cultural aspect of our school. Our Specialist Programs consist of Visual Arts, Performing Arts, LOTE, Physical Education, and a dedicated STEM/Science Program. An English as an Additional Language (EAL) program operates throughout the school and provides opportunities for students to have further focused instruction in English.

At Bundoora Primary, each child’s individuality is recognised and celebrated. We seek to nurture happy and balanced children. Our school boasts a caring, community environment where all families can feel that they are a part of something special.

Social Enterprise Program…

…not just from inside the classroom.

Our Year 6 students recently took a trip into Melbourne CBD to visit The Living Room which is one of the charities our Social Enterprise Program supports. Our Year 6 students heard about how The Living Room supports people experiencing homelessness, by providing meals, medical care, hygiene care and counselling. Our students then prepared and cooked pumpkin soup and muffins to be provided to The Living Room clients, along with protein drinks and bars we donated. We also presented The Living Room with a cheque for $2,000, which we have raised through our Social Enterprise café and school events. This excursion was such an amazing opportunity for our students to get an insight into how these kinds of charities work from the inside and see how their support helps those in need. Thank you to our school community for supporting our Social Enterprise Program.

Our brand new Discovery Centre, which houses our Visual Arts Room, STEM Room and new state of the art Library, is complete and looks amazing! Our students (and staff) are enjoying being in this new space.

Kindy Time

Kindy Time postponed until further notice.

Our 45 minute Kindy sessions are designed for kinder-aged children (3-4 year old) to help them to become familiar in a school-type setting.
