In line with the current Department of Education guidelines please find below information relating to return to school.

All students are expected to attend onsite as their year levels return to onsite learning and no remote learning tasks will be provided for year levels that are expected to attend onsite.

Parents and students with complex medical needs, including compromised immune systems, should seek advice from their medical practitioners to support decision making about whether onsite education is suitable, noting that this advice may change depending on the status of the Covid-19 pandemic in Victoria.

Please be aware that any of the information contained in this document is subject to change as the situation continues to evolve and new Department directives are received and forwarded to the community.

As per the departmental guidelines, we will need to socially distance our parents and students by using the four gates that access our school.

Students can enter through any of the four gates. Please note that the gate next to the staff car park is no longer able to be used due to building works.

Gates will open at 8:35am and be manned by a member of the school staff. Students will then go directly to their classroom, ready for the start to the day (8:55 am).

There will be no outside play prior to the start of the school day. If your child presents at school with any symptoms such as coughing, runny nose or eyes, vomiting, temperature etc. you will be asked to take them home again to avoid spreading an illness to other students and staff members.

As per the guidelines from DHHS please:

  • Drop your student at the gate and exit the area promptly
  • Maintain social distancing when inside and outside the school grounds, this includes around our gates
  • Keep your wait time at the end of the day to as short a period of time as possible

Access to the school grounds during other normal operating times will be limited. Parents will only be permitted on school grounds if it is essential i.e. collecting a sick child. All school visitors must report to the school office when entering the school grounds. Any other contact is to be made by phone or email.

As per the latest update from the department, please see following for attendance dates for each grade. These dates are subject to change, please ensure you check Compass updates.
