About our school
Bundoora Primary School is situated in the residential suburb of Bundoora, in the north-east of Melbourne. Our school is surrounded by Gresswell Forest, established areas, the adjacent Bundoora Secondary College campus, Strathallan Golf Course and the new Gresswell Grange Estate. We are close to La Trobe University, RMIT Bundoora and the Metropolitan Ring Road.
The School's enrolment currently stands at 220, with students from a variety of backgrounds, demonstrating the multi cultural aspect of our school. An English as a Second Language (ESL) program operates throughout the school and provides opportunities for students to have further focused instruction in English.
At Bundoora Primary, each child's individuality is recognised and celebrated. We are also very proud to be a KidsMatter School, seeking to nurture happy and balanced children. We are now accepting and receiving 2017 Prep Enrolments.
Due to our comprehensive learning programs, excellent facilities and very committed staff, Bundoora Primary School has seen a growth in enrolments over the past few years. Whilst there are no zoning issues for our school at present, parents are encouraged to enrol their child as early as possible. School tours are available with our Principal, Ms Lee Pollard, on request. You may like to meet with our Principal, Ms Lee Pollard, to arrange to tour our classrooms and grounds. Our tours, amongst other things, provide extensive information regarding our curriculum, specialist programs, and general classroom information, as well as giving you the opportunity to view the school and classes in action, and answer any queries you may have.

Kindy Time (school readiness)
Your child may also be interested in attending one of our Kindy Time sessions (Kindy Craft, Kindy Science, Kindy Story Time, Kindy Sports) held during Terms 2 and 3. Please see our Kindy Time page under our News & Events page above for more information.
Kindy Time sessions (Kindy Science, Kindy Story Time, Kindy Sport & Kindy Music) are offered throughout the year to assist children to familiarise themselves in a school-type setting, with a view to raising to their confidence in an enjoyable, comfortable way. Please see our Kindy Time page under News & Events for dates and times. Kindy Time sessions are designed for kinder-aged children (3 or 4 year olds) to enable them to familiarise themselves with a school-type setting, with a view to raising their confidence in an enjoyable, comfortable way. The Australian Government's Cybersafety Help Button provides internet users, particularly children and young people, with easy online access to cybersafety information and assistance available in Australia. It offers counselling, reporting and educational resources to assist young people deal with online risks including cyberbullying, unwanted contact, scams and fraud, and offensive or inappropriate material.
The help button is a free application that is easily downloaded onto personal computers, mobile devices, and school and library networks. Click on the image below to see where the button takes you.

Our School now has our own Skoolbag Smartphone App which we will be using to send you important information. Please download and install it by searching for our school name in either the Apple App Store, or Google Play Store.
