OSHC (Out of School Hours Care)

TheirCare provides inclusive, child-led, FUN outside school hours care and amazing School Holiday programs right here at Bundoora Primary School!

TheirCare offers Before School Care from 7.00am – 8.45am and After School Care from 3.15pm – 6.00pm, Monday to Friday, as well as School Holiday programs.

About the Program

Our OSHC program is delivered by qualified educators through TheirCare. We strive to provide the highest quality care in a safe, enjoyable, stimulating and caring environment. The program includes a wide variety of activities thoroughly prepared to meet children’s social, emotional, intellectual and physical needs — complementing our school’s curriculum and values.

Children enjoy cooking, craft, games, indoor and outdoor activities, as well as a quiet homework and reading corner. TheirCare is registered with the National Care Accreditation Council to participate in Outside School Hours Care Quality Assurance.

Bookings can be made and managed online via the TheirCare portal.

Payment is processed through a Direct Debit system. To receive the Child Care Subsidy (means tested) through the Australian Government, parents and carers must register through Centrelink confirming their child’s attendance at an Outside School Hours Care program.

Cancellation Policy

We staff each session based on the number of bookings received in order to comply with legal staff-to-child ratios. At least 24 hours’ notice of cancellation is required prior to the start of each session. Cancellations can be made online or by phone on 0499 003 108. Failure to provide notice may result in the session being charged.

From Term 3 in 2026, Kelly Club will be taking over as Bundoora Primary School’s out of school hours care provider. Further information will be provided regarding the changeover closer to the time.

Our local educators are qualified in childcare, hold a Working With Children Check, and are passionate about delivering a program that taps into every child’s unique interests and talents within a sense of community and connection.
